The terms and limitations of liability that apply when using the AIO website, AIO Framework standard documents, tools, datasets, and vocabulary.
Acceptance
By using this website and the materials and tools provided by AIO, you are deemed to accept these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
Content License
- The text of documents on this site (specifications, vocabulary, guides, etc.) — CC BY 4.0. With attribution, it may be freely cited and reused in academic, commercial, and policy documents.
- Code, analysis scripts, and SDKs — Apache-2.0 or MIT.
- Datasets — CC BY 4.0. Detailed terms are available on the License page.
- Logos and marks (AIO™, AIOQ CERTIFIED™, etc.) — a separate trademark policy applies. See the License page.
Permitted Uses
The following are permitted without separate authorization.
- Citing, with attribution, in academic papers, policy reports, and industry white papers
- Adopting the standard specification in your own systems and emitting AIO Framework logs
- Downloading datasets for use in research and analysis
- Forking reference-implementation code to modify and distribute it (subject to the license terms)
- Using the AIO name for descriptive, educational, and journalistic purposes
Prohibited Uses
- Without AIO's written permission, claiming official certification, official partnership, or AIOQ CERTIFIED™ status
- Altering logos or marks without authorization, or creating confusingly similar marks
- Using domain names, app names, or service names that cause confusion
- Generating excessive traffic on this site with automated bots or scrapers
- Using the materials for purposes that violate the law or public order and morals
Limitation of Liability
The standards, tools, and data provided by AIO are provided "AS IS". We make no express or implied warranty as to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or completeness.
AIO is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use. The legal, clinical, and financial responsibility for adopting and operating an AI system rests with the operating organization.
Third-Party Content
This site cites and links to GitHub, NeurIPS, external academic materials, and the like. The accuracy and reliability of external content is the responsibility of its respective provider, and AIO is not liable for it.
Changes & Termination
AIO may change these terms, the services provided, and the license conditions after prior notice. Material changes are published following the public RFC process.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes shall first be resolved by negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
