Frequently Asked Questions
AIO is a global non-profit organization that standardizes a common vocabulary so that the value, evidence, and source hierarchy of AI responses can be labeled, verified, and audited.
AIO Framework is a logging standard that labels, in a single standardized log line, which values, evidence, and sources an AI response prioritized. It is activated with one line in the system prompt, without retraining the model.
Reaching agreement on the values themselves involves significant moral and cultural conflict. However, it is possible to agree on a vocabulary that labels the relationships between values, and that labeling alone makes comparison, verification, and oversight possible.
AI safety regulation has operated on a binary of safe versus unsafe. AIO Framework enables continuous measurement of integrity through distributional measurement.
