We provide clear licenses so that the AIO standard, documents, code, and data can be used freely. At the same time, we maintain a trademark policy to prevent false claims of certification, sponsorship, or partnership.
Licenses by Material Type
- Standard documents, specifications, and guides — CC BY 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International).
With attribution, may be freely cited, reused, and adapted in academic, commercial, and policy documents.
- Reference implementations, SDKs, and tool code — Apache-2.0 or MIT (specified per repository).
May be used commercially, modified, and redistributed. Apache-2.0 additionally includes a patent grant.
- Datasets — CC BY 4.0.
May be used freely with attribution. Note, however, that copyright in the individual model responses contained in a dataset may belong to the respective model operators.
- Website body content — CC BY 4.0.

AIO Trademark and Brand Usage Policy

“™” denotes an unregistered trademark. “®” may be used only in jurisdictions where registration has been completed.
Referring to AIO for descriptive, journalistic, and academic purposes is permitted, provided the following conditions are met.
- Do not alter the marks or logos without authorization.
- Do not imply official sponsorship, affiliation, or certification.
- Where possible, include appropriate attribution.
- Using the brand under the name of a member, partner, or certifying body
- Using certification labels such as AIOQ CERTIFIED™
- Using the brand as an official brand on events, promotional materials, or product labeling
- Using domain names, app names, or service names in a way that causes confusion
- Altering the logo, creating confusingly similar marks, or combining it with other brands
- Claiming “official certification” or “official partner” status without written permission
