As the body that defines the standard, AIO must hold its own operations to AIO Framework's verification principles. We make our statutes, governance, finances, and funding sources all traceable through public documents.

Statutes and Operating Rules

Decision-Making Structure
Assembly
Votes on amendments to the statutes, the appointment of board members, and approval of the annual activity and financial reports.
Board
Decides on operational strategy, budget execution, and the appointment of the Secretary-General. Members TBD

Responsible for day-to-day operations, standards administration, and public communications.
Financial Operating Principles
- No membership fees — signing the vision, fellowships, and partnerships are all free.
- No royalties — we charge no usage fee for use of the AIO Framework standard.
- No donor influence — donors cannot exercise any influence over the content of the standard.
- Quarterly disclosure — all income and expenditure is disclosed every quarter.
- External audit — we undergo an external financial audit once a year.
